Wargame-Programming
Welcome to the Wargame Programming web site. This web site is devoted to creating wargame programs in basic. My goal is to provide information, tools, and games that other wargamers and programers will use and appreciate.
Recently I switch from QuickBasic with the Future library to Blitz Basic 1.36 being my principle programming environment. The principle advantages of Blitz Basic over QuickBasic is that its a 32-bit compiler (no DOS memory limitations!), it's based on DirectX 7, and the IDE is a native Windows application.
My main interest is in programming games rather than making games. I would prefer to convert existing, out of publication boardgames into computer games rather than start from scratch. So if you own the copyright to a wargame and would like to see it published as a computer game (freeware or shareware) please contact me!
